Best Way To Send Large Files Over Internet Really Fast

Think of a situation when you want to send a file over internet to your friend, family, colleague or anyone but the file exceeds the limits of E-mail transfer i.e. 25 MB. Yes i know you can use any online storage service like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive(formerly known as Skydrive) etc and share the download link with anyone you like. But is it fast enough..??

Instant Messaging services like Skype, Yahoo messenger, Google Talk also let’s you send files provided both ends have the same client software installed. This could prove to be a major drawback if you are in a hurry and don’t have the client installed (too much hassle).

In this post i’m going to introduce you to a service which let’s you send files without any restriction to it’s size or type and it also doesn’t require any software to operate.

Say Hello to JustBeamIt :-

justbeamit

How It Works :-
The working of JustBeamIt is something like :-

  • You initiate a file transfer by going to the site www.justbeamit.com
  • Now generate the link.
  • Send the generated link to the receiver.(You can use any means like Phone, E-mail, SMS, IM etc.)
  • The receiver clicks on the link and starts the download.
The files are sent in real time which means it doesn’t get uploaded to any server (added security YAY..!!).
Point of note here is that it’s a one time share meaning after the download is complete, the link which was generated becomes obsolete and sharing session is automatically closed.
